The Pinal County Joint Land Use Study (JLUS) is a joint planning effort led by Pinal County with support of the Arizona National Guard (AZNG). The project also includes a broad group of stakeholders and participating organizations that comprise the Policy Committee and Technical Working Group involved in the project development.
The menus at the top of the page provide access to the key information for the Pinal County JLUS.
Pinal County will host the third and final set of public workshops for attendees to learn about the JLUS process. These workshops will be an opportunity to learn about the key compatibility issues and the recommended strategies to mitigate existing or prevent future issues. Maps will be available for viewing to see if any of the recommended strategies are proposed in an area where you live or work. The workshops will include a brief presentation on the JLUS documents, followed by an open house to ask questions. Written public comments will be accepted at the open house and can also be provided through the project website by clicking on the “Comments” tab in the top left corner. The workshops will not be recorded, so comments must be submitted in writing.
Two separate workshops will be held in different geographic locations, but the materials presented will be the same. Please choose the one most convenient for you.
If you were unable to attend the workshops, you can still provide your input on the importance of the compatibility issues by responding to the online survey by clicking here.
The presentation from the workshops, including the results from the survey are available for view by Clicking Here.
